The song "Wish I Was Single Again"

I have been looking for the lyrics to Lil Wally's song "Wish I Was Single Aagain". My father used to sing it (i think this is the one) but I am having a terrible time finding anything! I know Jimmy Sturr also sang it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

The ( more or less standard polka field ) version is :

(Chorus) I wish I was was single again, my pockets would jingle again--Oh, when I was single my pockets would jingle, I wish I was single again.
Verse: I can't forget that night in May : It seems to me like yesterday--Your lips met mine in fond embrace : I'll always love you , always will--Some day we'll meet in paradise, and then our love dear will never die ( repeat last line from " Some day" to the end).

There are quite a few more verses than this standard polka bands' verse contains: This is an old song that pre-dated polkas ---but polka bands usually stick with the above lyrics . Other verses can almost certainly be found by googling the song's title and/or in various collections of American folk songs.

In fact, I just took my own advice and googled the title ( " I wish I was single again" ) and the first entry that pops up ( showing lyrics , " as sung by Mrs. W. B. Apple ") features about ten ( very wild ) verses (LOL)---These are worth checking out --- although I'm not sure any band would want to sing them...
